As you are going up the Manatee River from the Bradenton – Regatta Pointe Freedom Boat Club marina, you will see Whiskey Joe’s on the left right before the I75 overpass. If you are new to this restaurant, you will be amazed at the beachfront area with umbrella tables in front of the Whiskey Joe’s restaurant.
The docks are plentiful and in very good condition. You want to exit the boat and follow the sidewalk around the bar to enter the front door of the restaurant. They do take reservations if you are one to plan ahead.

If you’re looking for a chill spot to hang out with your friends, grab a drink and enjoy some live music, you will enjoy Whiskey Joe’s.. It’s a laid-back bar and grill with a beachy vibe, a large patio and a fire pit. They have a variety of beers on tap, cocktails and wines, as well as some tasty food options like burgers, wings, tacos and salads. We have tried the grouper sandwich, the grouper entree, the jambalaya, the ribs, the pizza and the pork sandwich. Everything is delicious, we have never been disappointed.
The service is friendly and fast, and the prices are reasonable. The best part is the live entertainment, featuring local bands and singers every night. You can dance, sing along or just relax and enjoy the show. Whiskey Joe’s is definitely a fun place to spend an evening with your pals.
