Located at: 1200 W Retta Esplanade, Punta Gorda, FL 33950, the Captain’s Table is an easy drive from the Punta Gorda Laishley Park Freedom Boat Club Marina.
When you arrive at Fisherman’s Village, look for the boat docks alongside the restaurants on the west side of the center. Parking is limited so we get there early to avoid disappointment. It is normally easy to park the boat. When you exit you will go up a few stairs to the deck and go to your left all the way back and up the stairs (or the elevator) to get to the hostess area.
Docking:
We arrived there at 11:00 am, just as they were opening. The hostess seated us right away and brought us the Luncheon menu, which has many different choices than the dinner menu for lower prices. I ordered the Captain’s Platter which came with Shrimp, Scallops and Grouper and Andy had the Parmesan Crusted Grouper, which was awesome (he gave me a small taste). The food was amazing, the portions were generous, the service was friendly, and the view was stunning. The restaurant is right on the water, so you can watch the boats and the sunset while you dine. The staff was attentive and helpful, making it a perfect lunch.
We love Fisherman’s Village and after dinner will generally take some time to walk through the center of the shopping area and do some window shopping. Now, back to the boat for a fun ride to the marina. We can’t wait to go again.
